Uli Becker

CEO Beckerei LLC

Uli is a sporting goods veteran, having worked more than 16 years for Adidas and eight years for Reebok.

He worked in global, regional and local roles and moved five times across the Atlantic focussing on product, marketing, brand and sales before taking over complete leadership as Managing Director, CMO, President, CEO & President. He believes that ‘teams make mountains move’ and has seen every relevant sports event in the world, except an Aussie football or cricket match.

After 25 years of big business, Uli stepped on the break and re-calibrated and what came out of that is a boutique advising, consulting and investing effort that has brought him closer to true entrepreneurship. Helping and mentoring is a give back, but also a business model.

Today, Uli is involved in great ideas he can relate to and is driven by great people, with the intent to disrupt the market. Plus they should have a meaningful purpose, because he has sold enough shoes and pieces of apparel in his life time and it’s time to do better. Doing good and making money with it is a thing.

See Uli on the jury panel at the HYPE SPIN Accelerator: Global Pitch Event on 9 April at Commonwealth House.
