Senator Belrose is a highly credentialed leader in public service and promoting the sport movement in the Caribbean.

Currently serving as Minister of Local Government and Culture for St Lucia, Senator Belrose has over thirty years’ experience in public service and government, including serving in the senior leadership of Ministries responsible for sport, home affairs, defence and youth development.

As a sport administrator, Senator Belrose has been an integral part of the leadership of the St Lucia  Olympic Committee and Commonwealth Games Association, as an executive board member, Chef de Mission and latterly, as the organisation’s President. She is also the Regional Vice-President of the Commonwealth Games Federation.
