Neeraj Aggarwala

Founder and CEO, Sportido

Neeraj, now a serial entrepreneur, kicked off his first venture – Easypolicy, India’s second largest Insurance aggregator, at age 23, which is now a well-oiled machine with 400 employees and more than $1million in monthly sales.

Finding simple solutions to pressing problems is his forte which is now even more evident in his second venture – Sportido, a sports discovery app that helps you find people and places to play sport, that aims to impact lives of 100 million users by 2025.

He has a discerning eye for UX and UI, along with a very strong belief in processes and blue-prints that standardise the highest level of service delivery. Neeraj’s core strength lies in breaking down his vision and aligning the pieces into bite-sized goals and then establishing key processes in impact areas of the business.

He has led teams of 100s across various functions like Product, Sales, Marketing and Operations. In the past, he has also been successful in radically ‘gamifying’ the sales environment by creating an automated level playing-field for the team where rewards and appraisals are instant, bringing transparency and stability along with boosting morale of the employees.

Moreover, he has led the technology team to churn out technological innovations that will change the way insurance is bought and serviced in India. Now, he is on a mission to help people play more Sport and, along with his team, he is on his way to making Sportido into a global brand.

Outside office, Neeraj dons the role of Poet and Singer for a Delhi-based progressive/alternative rock band called “Plok”.

Hear Neeraj present a pitch for Sportido at the HYPE SPIN Accelerator: Global Pitch Event on 9 April at Commonwealth House.
